Outer Shell The outer shell is the first line of defense against external impacts, distributing the energy concentrated at a single point of impact across the entire surface, protecting both the head and the other components inside the helmet. Inner Shell The inner shell’s function is to absorb any external impact and disperse it, preventing it from being transmitted to the head. It also acts as a cushioning buffer, softening the impact of the head against the outer shell of the helmet. It needs to be lightweight and durable, which is why expanded polystyrene with a ventilated structure is the solution we chose for our inner shell. Padding The padding is essential for a proper size fit, a key requirement for both safety and comfort. It’s made with microfiber fabric using Microsense technology, offering gentle softness and superior comfort. The added 2dry hydrophilic treatment allows the fabric to quickly wick away sweat and dry rapidly against the skin, providing a pleasant feeling of lasting freshness. The padding is also treated with the “sanitized” process: an antimicrobial treatment with bacteriostatic and fungistatic protection. The shalimar fabric is then perforated and bonded to cross-linked foams, making the padding highly breathable.

Ventilation
A key element for skier comfort is the ventilation system, made up of air intakes that let fresh air in while letting warm, humid air escape at the same time. Our research and development team identified the ideal airflow orientation and found the right air mixture to provide ventilation even in extreme conditions, such as high-altitude environments.

Soft Padding
The soft cheek and ear protectors are made from thermoformed material and eco-leather. In some cases, the openings are covered with mesh to allow for proper perception of outside noise; they’re removable to ensure maximum thermal comfort even during the warmer months.

Closure System
The closure system’s job is to keep the helmet securely on the wearer’s head, not only while skiing but especially in the event of an impact; our helmets feature a strap with a metal buckle and quick-release micrometric adjustment.

Visor
The visor needs to protect against wind and snow while ensuring optimal, fog-free vision. Our visors are made of polycarbonate with an anti-scratch treatment.
